Compassionate Engagement Module under APT 2.0

Sir/Madam.

Kindly refer to your office email dated 21.05.2026 regarding certain clarifications sought by CEPT in respect of the GDS Compassionate Engagement Module under APT

2.0.

In this regard, the clarifications on the issues raised by CEPT are enclosed as Annexure-A for necessary action. In view of the above. CEPT may kindly incorporate the aforesaid provisions in the GDS Online Compassionate Engagement Portal under APT 2.0 and complete the necessary system development accordingly

The application for the above relaxation may be submitted within a period of one year, i.e., upto 29.12.2026 .However, cases where the period of 2 years from the date of death/attaining the eligibility has not been completed till the date of submission of application may also be registered in the portal e.g., if any death on 02.07.2024, the dependent is eligible to apply up to 01.07.2026 or after 2 years from eligibility.
