Sub: Revision of monetary ceiling for reimbursernent of briefcase / office bag/ ladies purse etc.

I am directed to reter to your oflice letter No. GM(PA&F)/GS/Bag Reimbursement/2024-25/D-244 dated 24.10.2024 on the subject mentioned above and to clarify that all the Gazetted officers of Department of Posts and officials in the grade pay ot Rs 4600, i.e., equivalent to lnspector of Posts, who are having touring nature of duties, are only eligible for the reimbursement of the briefcase / office bag/ladies purse. The pre-requisite of touring nature of duties is not applicable to Gazetted officers.
