Subject: Circulation of Office Memorandum regarding the proposed three-day nationwide bank strike from 28.09.2026 to 30.09.2026 - reg.
Sir/Madam,
I am directed to refer to this office letter of even number dated 23.09.2026 on the subject cited above.
2.In this connection, OM No. 03002(2)/1/2020/TA-II/(e-3001)/416 dated 23.09.2026 has been received from the O/o the Controller General of Accounts (CGA) (copy enclosed), forwarding the instructions contained in the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, OM No. 6/8/2014-IR dated 21.09.2026, regarding advance disbursement of salary/wages/pension for September 2026.
3.As per the instructions, salary/wages/pension for September 2026 may be drawn and disbursed on 25.09.2026. The amount so disbursed shall be treated as advance payment and any adjustment arising after determination of the full month's entitlement shall be made from the October 2026 salary/wages/pension.
4.Further, payments and other banking transactions falling due towards the end of September 2026 may also be processed in advance, wherever feasible, to avoid disruption during the strike period.
5. It is requested to circulate the enclosed instructions to all concerned DDOS under your jurisdiction and ensure necessary action accordingly.
This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
