All e-Office users may now upload .doc/.docx/ .xls/ .xlsx/ .pptx etc. file formats in Note sheets, Drafts and References, as per their requirements.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Restoration of facility for uploading Word and Excel files in e-Office - reg.
This is with reference to the temporary restriction imposed on uploading documents other than PDF files in e-Office, including in Note sheets, Drafts and References, in view of a security advisory.
2.It is hereby informed that the issue has since been resolved by NIC, and the facility for uploading the .doc / .docx/ .xls / .xlsx/ .pptx etc. file formats has been restored in e-Office.
3.Accordingly, all e-Office users may now upload .doc/.docx/ .xls/ .xlsx/ .pptx etc. file formats in Note sheets, Drafts and References, as per their requirements.
This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
