No. 2(25)2004-E ll(B) daH 1512 2011 to c€ntral Ciovemment offcials on treir sUy in SUe Bhavans/Guest Houses and also in cases where C€nt'al C'ovemmeot offcials staY in Depadmenbl Guesl Hot6es.

The matter has been considelEd i0 this Depadment ln supeEession of lhe instrlrctions conlain€d in afuresaid o,M, dated 15.12,m11, it has been decided $at t|e ofrcials on heir posljru to the cente and the Cenlral Gorcmm€nt offcials on their t-anshr/posting to a new station, necessitating clEnge ol lEsiilence if tley tompoErily shy in StaE Bhavand Guest HouseJDepafinental Guest Houses run by Central Govemment / State Govemment / Autonomous orlanizations etc., may be Pimburced lhe amount of rent paid subject to tulfllrnent of the lollov{ing conditions:
(a) The offcial has applied for accommodation of his entiuement' but has not been alloted rcsidental accommodation bY lhe Govemment.
(b) The concemed Guest Hous€ should be hcated at ttE plac€ of posting of Ule official' (c) Tle ofiicial must have stayed in State BhavanJcuest Houses/Deparhental Guest Houses run by central Govemmenustate GovemmenuAutonomous orlanizations etc and submit rent Eceipb in sLlpport of Payment ot lenl
(d) Reimbucement of ent shall be admissible up to a maximum perbd of six montls'
(e) No House Rent Allowance (HRA) shall be admissible dudng this Pdod'

4. ln so far as lhe percons serving in the lndia Audit and Accounts Depaturent arc concemed' these odels
